It targets investors who want meaningful income while keeping duration and rate exposure tightly contained until capital is redeployed. Credit quality anchors the list. The EIB 4.5% October 2028 is rated AAA and offers a 6.48% yieldtoworst, a pickup that supranational paper rarely provides at this tenor. Relative value is strongest in US and Asian financials and industrials. ICE's 4% 2027 at 7.07% and 3.1% 2027 at 6.26% offer A exposure at yields well above comparable shortdated financials, while GDCOMM's 2.358% January 2027 at 7.15% adds Hong Kong industrial credit to the mix. Diversification across issuers and sectors, spanning government, financial, and industrial names in the US, China, Hong Kong, and the UK, limits concentration risk within a shortmaturity book. The result is a compact, liquid set of shortdated alternatives to cash.
